The Bangladesh Journal of Pharmacology (Bangladesh J Pharmacol) is an open-access, video component, and peer-reviewed biomedical science journal of the Bangladesh Pharmacological Society (BDPS).
The journal publishes papers on the studies of plant extracts or drugs on pharmacological effects, using laboratory animals, human cell lines, and microbes.
The papers are Research Articles, Mini-reviews, Meta-analyses, Clinical Trials, Visual Experiments, and Letters to the Editor. Those who want to publish a research article must submit a video clip of one of the methodologies. Mini-reviews and Meta-analyses are usually unsolicited. A letter to the Editor is okay if the author(s) have data that is slightly different from published data.
The studies on antihypertensive drugs, anti-HIV agents, molecular docking without the data from the wet lab, nanotechnology, and polyherbal products are not within the scope of this journal.
The Bangladesh Journal of Pharmacology is an open-access journal dedicated to the rapid dissemination of high-quality research in the fields of pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and related biomedical disciplines. To sustain its publishing operations and uphold high editorial and production standards, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 500 USD per accepted article.
